The oil suction filter is installed at the front end of the oil pump suction port, mainly to protect the oil pump, filter out large particles and impurities entering the system, and prevent oil pump wear. It requires a large oil flow rate, low resistance, and generally coarse accuracy, mostly between 80-150 μ m. It cannot be too dense, otherwise it will cause the oil pump to suck up, cavitation, and damage the pump body.Used to filter out solid particles and adhesive substances generated during work, effectively controlling the pollution level of the working medium.
Filtration accuracy: Oil suction filters usually adopt a coarse filtration design (with a filtration accuracy of generally 80-100 μ m), mainly intercepting large particle impurities (such as metal shavings, fibers, etc.) in the oil to prevent them from entering the oil pump and avoid pump body wear or jamming.
Connection method: The oil outlet is usually equipped with threaded or flanged connections to meet different pipeline requirements.

According to the classification of filter materials, there are: oil filter paper: 10-50um, glass fiber: 1-70um, HV glass fiber: 3-40um, metal mesh: 3-500um, sintered felt: 5-70um, and line gap filter: 15-200um.

The sealing materials used in the filter element are different. Generally, the sealing ring of hydraulic oil filter element is nitrile rubber, while filtering media such as kerosene, gasoline, and diesel requires the use of fluorine rubber rings.
