The return oil filter element is installed in the system's return oil pipeline, and the oil passes through it before returning to the oil tank after completing its work. At this time, the pressure is low and the flow rate is stable, making it suitable for high-precision filtration. The accuracy is usually between 10-25 μ m, which can intercept impurities generated in the system outside the oil tank and is the key to controlling the overall oil pollution level.
The core function of the hydraulic return oil filter element is filtration. In hydraulic systems, a large amount of metal powder and tiny particles are generated due to the mutual friction and wear of various components. If these impurities are not removed in a timely manner, they will accelerate the wear of hydraulic components, reduce system efficiency, and even lead to system failures. The hydraulic return oil filter element effectively intercepts these impurities through its internal filtering media, such as metal mesh, fiber materials, or ceramics, ensuring the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil.
1. Using multi-layer composite glass fiber or stainless steel filter materials, the filtration accuracy is usually 5-20 microns, which can effectively capture pollutants such as metal debris and rubber particles. The single filtration efficiency can reach over 99%, significantly extending the life of hydraulic oil and components.
2. The 20 filter element design has sufficient filtration area, with low resistance when oil passes through. The initial pressure drop usually does not exceed 0.08MPa, ensuring smooth oil return to the system without affecting the efficiency of the main pump and system response speed.
3. When the filter element is clogged and the pressure difference rises to the set value (such as 0.35-0.4MPa), the bypass valve automatically opens, allowing the oil to return directly to the tank without filtration. This is to prevent the filter element from crushing or causing greater damage due to a lack of oil in the system, which is a safety design. However, the filtering function is temporarily disabled when turned on.
4. An optional differential pressure transmitter can be installed. When the differential pressure reaches the warning value (such as 0.2-0.35MPa), an electrical signal or visual prompt (such as a red indicator column popping up) can be sent to remind the operator to replace the filter element in a timely manner and avoid the system being in a bypass state for a long time.
5. The filter element is supported by a metal frame inside, which can withstand pressure impact and pulsation in the return oil pipeline. The material of the end cap and seal is oil resistant and temperature resistant, with a working temperature range of usually -30 ℃ to+120 ℃. It is compatible with various hydraulic oils, fire-resistant oils, and water ethylene glycol media.
6. The filter element with a straight back design is installed at the top of the fuel tank. When replacing, simply unscrew the cover to pull out the old filter element and insert the new one. The operation is simple and not easy to spill oil. Some models are equipped with self sealing valves, which can automatically close the oil tank and oil circuit when the filter element is removed, preventing oil leakage, which is both clean and economical.
